The Magic of the Movies is here at Disneys Hollywood Studios!

Rounding out our number 2 spot, Hollywood Studios is our second favorite park at Walt Disney World. This park has gone through many changes since it initially opened, but the classic attractions here have stood the test of timeFor those who have been to California Adventure park, you will find lots of similarities, as Disney used a lot of similar theming design across both parks. Here you will find some iconic rides and shows such as Fantasmic!, the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular, Rock'in Roller Coaster, Toy Story Land and of course, Star Wars... Galaxy's Edge!Below you will find our favorite rides at this park, and some tips on how to best enjoy this park.

The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror

So nice of you to... Drop on by....Hands down, across all of Walt Disney World, this is our favorite ride. From the moment you enter the queue, the theming sets the mood. The pre-show with the iconic Twilight Zone episode style gets you ready to take a tour on a service elevator... if you dare.While normally we are not fans of drop rides, this one is just so much fun. We hope you check in and see for yourself!

Slinky Dog Dash

This cute coaster is great for the whole family. While it has some twists and turns, and even 2 launches! It is not an extreme ride, and everyone will be laughing until the end. We love how well this fits within Toy Story land, and everything really feels like it came out of Andy's Toy Box.

Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular!

Are you ready for a truly EPIC stunt show?This show is a ton of fun. They do a great job of showing how the actors perform the stunts you see in the movies all while creating an awesome show. We love hitting this show to get out of the Florida Sun, and if you are the type to want to participate, we recommend showing up early to get good seats and your chance at getting picked out of the crowd.

Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance!

Time to join the resistance and take on the First Order!This attraction is truly one of a kind and you will enjoy it even if you are not a Star Wars fan! This ride often has one of the longest lines in the park, but for good reason. Clocking in at just over 22 minutes from start to finish, this is an experience that shouldn't be missed.

Tips to Enjoy this Park

As much as we love Hollywood Studios, it is truly a Half Day park. We normally come right at open, and take a mid-afternoon break to go off property for lunch or dinner before finishing our evening when the lights go down. However, if you have never been before, you would fill your day up with all of the rides and shows (not really a bad attraction anywhere in the park!). Now that being said... this is definitely a park that we recommend paying for Genie + for the day. The lines for all of the rides can get long pretty quick and Genie+ can help you maximize your time in lines. If you are staying at one of our hotels in our room block, you can also take the Skyliner to the park!The Skyliner is a FREE cable car system that runs to both Hollywood Studios and EPCOT. You can pick it up from 3 Resorts-Pop Century/Art of Animation-Caribbean Beach-Riviera ResortAnd with a short walk to the EPCOT station, the Boardwalk Resorts are close by too!
